Hey Divas, After years of damaging my own hair....I made the decision... I am going natural...YEAH... yes it has been a journey, but i am going to do it. Now this is not the first time, I have went back and forth with this for the past few years, but I am ready now to commit all the way.
Anywho... here is the story... I sat in the barbers chair and he put the scissors to my hair and cut all my permed hair off to the new growth then he proceeded to reached for the clippers. I managed to get a glimpse in the mirror, and I stopped him there, I was there to get the number one, I wanted to start from scratch; however, when I saw my natural self in the mirror I was happy with what I saw, I told him no need to grab the clippers, I am GOOD with this.
My next stop will be to get twist which I will be going to see my girl Kit de Luca... she is the lead stylist and founder of the Beauty Basement here in the DMV. She is good ya'll for real. She is the type of stylist that if you come to her and say I want all natural products you got it. If you want weaves, perms, whatever, I am telling you the girl can do it.
Anywho... I know this post has nothing to do with make-up but I just wanted to share. I will be posting pics of my new do....
